The Peruvian Bible Society has been running the ‘Bread of Life’ project for eighteen years. Offering physical and spiritual aid to children in extreme poverty in the rural areas of Cusco in southern Peru, the ‘Bread of Life’ project has reached thousands of children. These children have received holistic care with a daily nutritious breakfast, Bible classes and age-appropriate materials. Further, the children have been introduced to the Gospel and Christian values, and encouraged to develop good habits such as tidiness, discipline, punctuality and cleanliness.
