A huge thank you to Whiteabbey Methodist Church who raised £435 for the ‘Bread of Life’ project in Peru at their recent Sunday School service. The whole congregation joined in and dressed up to help the kids out with their nativity. It looks like they had a great time reflecting on the Christmas story and thinking about how they can share it with other people!

The money donated by the congregation will help give children in Peru breakfasts and Bibles. The ‘Bread of Life’ project continues to help many children in Peru who are living in poverty and are not getting the food that they need. By inviting the kids along to the project they receive a breakfast or dinner full of the nutrition that they need, and they also get to hear about Jesus. You can read more about the work in Peru and watch a video here.

If your church or organisation is raising money for Bible Society NI let us know. We’d love to share your photographs and inspire others to get involved.
